Through the generosity of William A. Keller, a former majority owner of the former Valley Supply Company, scholarship opportunities are available for students of current Robertson Heating Supply employees who were also employed by Valley Supply Company.
Citizens Bank of West Virginia serves as Trustee of the William A. Keller Scholarship Fund and will annually grant scholarships in accordance to the scholarship trust guidelines. Each year thousands of dollars will be awarded in educational scholarships; however, the number of scholarships and the amount of each scholarship will vary according to the qualifying applicants as prioritized in the William A. Keller Trust Scholarship covenants.
Preference and priority will be given to eligible students in the order as noted below.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
For purposes of the William A. Keller Scholarship Fund, the term “high school graduates”, or words to that effect, shall also include students who completed Test Assessing Secondary Completion (“TASC”) or other high school equivalency testing program through the West Virginia Department of Education, and with respect to Second or Third Priority applicants, the term “post-secondary education” shall include students enrolled in a program or course of study at a trade or technical school, or community college.
Applications will be reviewed and winners selected by the William A. Keller Scholarship Fund Trustee.
Each award will be paid directly to the recipient’s chosen school.
